One fun effect you can get with Paint Shop Pro is altering your photo's edges. You can add a classical touch to a black-and-white photo by blurring the edges, or make the image seem professionally matted even before you print it.
The tool to achieve these effects in Paint Shop Pro is really easy to use. Just open the photo you want to edit.

Then click Image>Picture Frame to open the Picture Frame dialog box.

Select the frame you want from the Picture frame drop-down box. Select any of the effects you want from the options underneath the Orientation heading. Using this simple tool, I was able to create the following variations on my original picture.



Pull up a few of your favorite pictures, and apply some of the treatments you learned about here.
