Quilt Camp

I met Amanda online, from my quilting mailing list. She's 24 (just 2 years younger than me!) and has been quilting since she was 16. We were there (at Quilt Camp) from Thursday, October 28th through Sunday, October 31st. We were the last ones to leave, and were there a few hours longer than everyone else. :)

Amanda finished putting borders on this quilt for an Alternatives to Abortion mission.	Dana, pressing friendship stars.	Dana, sewing friendship stars.	Sewing what, you ask? What else?? Friendship stars.	Dana's first completely finished non-friendship star project at Quilt Camp - a foundation pieced log cabin wreath.
Chain-piecing those friendship stars! :)	It's hard to see in this pic, but it's 4:50AM and you can see the empty tables - Amanda and I were the only ones still up.	Us young'uns were the only ones still awake. :)	The makings of a star quilt Amanda finished.	All the blocks were done, and this is how it looks laid out.
The log cabin, in progress.	I look wiped out in this picture, but we stayed up for 8 hours past the time this was taken.	That lump under the covers is Amanda. Interesting, since our room was kept a balmy 87 degrees (by our choice).	Must.... quilt!	A fairly decent pic of the two of us together.

Carolyn again	Dana and Carolyn	A quilt Carolyn made for her daughter.	This was Charlie's quilt for her DDIL. She did all of the embroidery by hand. *yikes!*	A scrappy log cabin that Peggy made.
Carolyn made these trees at camp. She's going to hang blinky lights on them for the holidays.	Karol, giving me a thumbs-up. Looks like something else, though, huh?	I didn't see who made this one.	These are our handquilters from Pomeroy, WA. The lady on the left is Jackie.. I forget the other one's name.	Becky's barn-raising raffle quilt for the high school.
Karol and Ivadel - two of the absolute coolest quilters around. They dressed up and trick-or-treated for fabric for a charity quilt. Cute, cute, cute!!!	Yep, it's them again. Don'tcha just love the orange tights??	A snail's trail quilt Peggy finished at camp.	Hanna.	Hanna finished this entire quilt while at Quilt Camp. Her brother-in-law is giving it to his wife. Gorgeous, isn't it??
