Thank You Notes These were written by the Endicott School 4th Grade class, thanking us for bringing them some giant pumpkins for Halloween that Mike grew. (Spelling and punctuation are as written, names withheld to protect the honest.) "Thank you for the huge pumpkin you gave our class. It was carved into a jack-o-lanter by the 7th graders. Later Mr. Anderson lit a candle in it. It really warmed our classroom. Thanks again!" "Thank you for giving us the huge pumpkin. We loved it! Four of the seventh graders carved it with a happy face. It got gross after a few weeks. It looked like rotten peanut butter inside it." "Thank you for the pumpkin. It was realy big. But it stunk. It started to rot after a couple of days. It wouldn't have tasted very good." "Thank you for the huge pumpkin. We loved to have it around. It had a nice glow in the dark." "Thank you for your wonderful gift. Our class loved it. We carved it with a smile. But eventually it rotted and now it kind of smells." "Thank you for the pumkin. It was nice. After a while some seventh graders carved it. It started to stink. I think it was rotting. But the candle we put in it was pretty. It looked like it was glowing. It was cool." "We had a lot of fun with the pumkin in our classroom. But when Mr. Anderson lit a candle in it when it was carved it looked really pretty cool. I would just like to say thank you for the enormous, cool pumkin." "Thank you for letting us have your pumpkin in the fourth grade room. We loved it when Mr. Anderson and four of the seventh graders carved it and lit the candle." "I like your pumpkin in our class room. After we lit it a couple of times it looked like there were little patches of peanut butter inside. Thank you so much for the pumpkin." "I loved the pumpkin. It was so cool. The pumpkin was really bright after the seventh graders carved it. It was getting rotten after awhile. It looked like rotten peanut butter inside. Thank you!" "The pumpkin was great. It was the biggest pumpkin I had ever seen. The class carved it into a funny face. Thank you." |
